WEDDING REPORTAGE IN ALFTANES, ICELAND
On the northeastern point of the Reykjanes Peninsula
located so close to the city, yet Álftanes stayed a natural oasis. Surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, the peninsula is characterized by multiple farmlands, distant hills and volcanic rocks. Mesmerizing views over Reykjavik and the nearby Mount Esja are attracting local couples.
Great hiking trails, large lava field, Gálgahraun are the perfect location to visit, but also to organize a photo session – weather it is just a 30minutes during the wedding day or a half day photo shoot.
Venue: Fisherman’s Village, a place where you can find few guesthouses and a restaurant by the seashore.
