This world famous landmark in  features waterfalls, plane wreck, hot river, glacier or a famous Reynisfjara, black beach. Photo shoot in this area is quite dynamic, lasts from 8h to 10h and can be extended to 2 full days, including Diamond Beach, Ice Caves, hike on glacier, quad bikes ride or a Vestmanneyjar Island visit.

Another stunning engagement location is Snaefellsnes Peninsula. This remote area in Iceland is an excellent backdrop for an epic engagement photo session far from the crowds, Black Church in Budir, Gattklettur – a bridge rock formation, lava fields, cliffs above the ocean, mountains and the most beautiful black beach which you can see here… For adventurous ones, lonely wolfs, explorers, who seems to not notice 12h -14h passing by…

If you’re interested in a shorter engagement photo session, consider Reykjanes Peninsula. It’s a area between Keflavik airport and Reykjavik, which is located 20minutes drive from the city. There is geothermal area and a cliffs above the lake, which creates beautiful photo backdrops. The engagement session there can be planned from 1h-2h and expanded to other nearby locations taking total up to 5h. The biggest advantage is that on your way back you can stop in the Blue Lagoon to enjoy evening.

There are also numerous other places to choose from in Iceland. Many of the sites will require a guide or 4×4 vehicle, but why not to use an opportunity and fly above the volcano or go with a helicopter to the highlands?
